Two Lakers today vertical jiggin’. 23″ – 5lb and a 25″ 6lb.
Used a Mepps 3/4oz little woolf spoon in silver, and a Tsunami Holographic Swim Shad Soft Bait.
Both fish where taken in water over 120′
Water temp is at 65 degrees at the surface. Themocline is at 40ish feet of water. Water temp has only dropped two or three degrees over the last two weeks.
The lakers are still suspending in the bottom 10 feet of water. Sonar shows that are willing to race up to bottom of the thermocline for a quick snack…i mean my lure😀
