A 40” inch – 13lb Northern Pike is a great way to start the morning!!!! I caught my personal best Northern Pike while vertical jigging this morning. We are in the middle of a cold front with heavy clouds, which is great for smaller bright soft plastics. Its even better that I was with my Dad and Sister, we are actually pan fishing for a fish fry this weekend. This Beautiful Northern will live to see another day, since she was successfully released back into the lake. Yep…I used a 4” Gulp Minnow!!!
